December and March.  These months, we celebrate and PARTAY!  The Christmas party is scheduled for December 9th at 1pm at Still Hopes.  We had a great turnout last year. Come prepared for a snowball fight, according to Bob Zeimer (treasurer)

Michele Frazier, M.Ed. | Licensed and Certified Audiologist | Since receiving her graduate degree in Audiology from James Madison University, Michele has delivered exceptional hearing care, from diagnosis to treatment, to patients of all ages. Throughout her thirty years in practice, she has endeavored to provide the compassionate care that we would want for our families and ourselves. In 2002, she was chosen by her peers as the Outstanding Audiologist in South Carolina. An active community volunteer, she presently serves on Palmetto Health's Children's Hospital Board of Directors and the Executive Committee of Camp WonderHands for Deaf and Hard of Hearing Children. She appreciates the opportunity to help those with hearing loss make improvements in all areas of their day to day lives.

HLAA Midlands SC Chapter participated at the July 2017 Fire Fly Baseball Game by setting up a display table with valuable information relating to Hearing Loss. The goal was to raise awareness and the impact that hearing loss has on people in our daily lives. We had many people stop by inquiring about hearing loss and requested information.

Michele Frazier, an audiologist from Midland Hearing Associates, has graciously agreed to speak at our next chapter meeting. She will bring pamphlets and brochures for anyone who would like them. She will be speaking on topics from tinnitus, hearing health care, and maintaining amplification.

Every year, HLAA Midlands, SC Chapter has an annual picnic where can all gather together for discussions, food and games. You are cordially invited to join us next year and oin in on the fun. We had a great turn out this year and we are hoping it will be even better next year.
